Yes. Only Lite plan allows the manual signature.

Which are the benefits of managing minutes with "Ata na Hora"?

Signatories are notified when the minute is ready for signing. In the Standard, Premium, Professional and Total Pass plans it also sends a notification each time a signatory has incorporated a signature

Passwords can be assigned to third parties such as lawyers, accountants and auditors.

In which languages is the platform available in?

The platform is available in English, Spanish and Portuguese

Which are the benefits of filing minutes with "Ata na Hora?"

Physical security:keep minutes on-line with permanent access to them, without having to worry about physical destruction or loss of the document.

Legal security: when all signatures have been incorporated the minute is blocked and cannot be amended. (Only with Stand-ard, Premium, Professional and Total Pass plans).

Technological security: the minute book manager decides which third parties, if any, can access the minutes. (Only with Standard, Premium, Professional and Total Pass plans).

What other advantages does it have?

A qualified electronic signature presumes the following:

a) The person that signs with a qualified electronic signature is its holder or represents, with sufficient powers, the legal person that holds the qualified electronic signature;

b) The qualified electronic signature was used with the intent to sign the electronic document.

c) The electronic document was not altered in any way since it was signed with the qualified electronic signature.

What is a simple electronic signature?

The simple electronic signature is data in electronic form which is attached to or logically associated with other data in electronic form and which is used by the signatory to sign.

What is an advanced electronic signature?

An electronic signature issued by a certifying body, which fulfills the following requirements:

• It is uniquely linked to the signatory;
• It is capable of identifying the signatory;
• It is created using electronic signature creation data that the signatory can, with a high level of confidence, use under his sole control;
• It is linked to the data signed therewith in such a way that any subsequent change in the data is detectable.

What is a qualified electronic signature?

Pursuant to Portuguese legislation (Law-Decree n.º 290-D/99, of August 2, amended by Law-Decree n.º 62/2003, of April 3), "the signing of an electronic document with a qualified electronic signature is the equivalent to a hand-made signature in a written document on paper".
If you would like to attribute legal evidential value to the minute you should sign it with a digital certificate with a qualified signature issued by a recognised entity in Portugal.

I'm a foreigner. Can I sign the minutes digitally?

Yes. Regardless of being a Portuguese national or not, you can sign minutes with a Digital Certificate issued by a recognised entity and/or through OTP (One Time Password).
